Office Manager

Cheryl has been with the Island Sprinkler Doctor for the past 9 years. She enjoys working with clients, booking all the appointments, and making sure you have a fantastic customer experience.

Cheryl can process payments over the phone or help with eTransfers, making your payment experience quick and easy.

Cheryl prides herself on fulfilling customer needs, and has built great rapport with all the Island Spriknler Doctor clients. She looks forward to help you with your irrigation project.

Kevin Kitchener

Technician

Kevin is our family man, with two small young children. He brings 23 years of experience to his role as a Technician, and has installed hundred of irrigation systems as well as landscape lighting.

Kevin‘s attitude is very customer-centric and he enjoys meeting new people any chance he gets. Kevin works with closely with Building Strata’s, meeting the property or building managers, he will coordinate times and keep everyone up-to-date on the condition of their system.

With Kevin‘s vast knowledge of different types of controllers, he will find the best product fit for your system, and provide installation and programming so you’re up and running right away.

Leah Kulas

Technician

Since moving to the Island in 1992 from Ontario, Leah has spent the last 26 years in the horticulture industry. With time spent in horticulture training, lawn care, The Butchart Gardens and landscape business ownership, Leah has amassed a comprehensive body of knowledge and experience.

It was some 15 years ago with her full-service landscaping business that she ventured into the realm of irrigation. Through a need to coordinate plants with their sustenance (as opposed to battle for space), coupled with the necessity to change the irrigation when the landscape changes, Leah’s creative and engineering mind were naturally drawn to irrigation (or water-Lego as she affectionately refers to it).

There is a saying in gardening, “A garden is never finished”. This infers that a garden is ever changing and by extension, so must the irrigation. It is for this main reason that Leah believes “Micro” irrigation is the most adaptive garden bed irrigation system out there and has dedicated herself in developing the most economic and robust system possible.

With a commitment to quality and integrity, paired with a caring nature, you can count on Leah to listen, identify and deliver on all your garden and irrigation needs!

Josh Dominic

Technician

Josh started his career in irrigation at the wholesale level back in 2007 where he learned the ins and outs of irrigation design. It was working in wholesale where he learned about customer appreciation and that without the customer you don’t have a business.

Since then, Josh has developed his passion and experience in listening and understanding customer needs and then working alongside the customer to create a custom irrigation system that they will enjoy for years.

After a year of working at WesTech, Josh took his Irrigation Tech Level One course and started working in the field. Josh has strong technical skills in all irrigation services and a strong level of knowledge that allows him to do new installs and revamps with ease.

If a revamp of an old system is required, Josh can work out the best way to build upon what already exists to bring about water savings and system efficiency, saving you on your water bill.

If it’s a new installation that is required, the same principles will be applied to make sure your system is designed and functioning at the best level it can within the given budget.

At the end of the day customer satisfaction is Josh’s goal.

James “Jake” Jacob

Technician

Jake was born and raised in Victoria, and has lived here most his life. He is a proud father to four boys who are now grown men, and enjoys biking and fishing here on Vancouver Island.

After many years in the construction trades, specializing in forming and framing, Jake decided to bring his diverse skillset of 20 years to the irrigation industry.

From design and installation, to repairs, upgrades, spring starts and winterizing, Jake has an expansive knowledge of all irrigation services offered by Island Sprinkler Doctor.

Jake is polite, punctual, dependable, and is committed to doing the job right the first time!
